TINTON FALLS, NJ, September 12, 2007––Storage Engine, Inc., a leading provider of fault tolerant enterprise data storage and document imaging solutions, today announced a new ultra-high density nearline data storage product into its Synchronix family of data storage products, designed to meet the needs of large data storage users.  The Fault Tolerant SX4200 is a fault tolerant 4U device that supports currently up to 48 SATA II disks, which is expandable up to 144 disks or 108TB in 12U’s of rack space.  Storage Engine will shortly introduce the new Seagate 1TB Moose disks which will increase capacity to 48TB per 4U base (or 144TB with expansion).  Designed for VTL, near line, second tier and tertiary data storage needs including DR locations.  The SX4200 provides fault tolerance and multiple, 4 x 4Gb Fibre paths for performance and redundancy. 

The SX-4200 joins the expanding Synchronix family of HA data storage technology that the Company has been deploying to Enterprise and Government accounts of all size for the safe keeping of their data at a cost savings. Return on investment on this any other storage devices are enhanced with our Synchronism storage management appliance.
